All Aboard the Propagation Station!

Aug 26, 2023

Dryland Revival's first ever hands on native plant propagation workshop; sow knowledge, meet community, propagate plants, & grow together in this welcoming to all-skill-level environment.

Do you find yourself staring at your or your neighbor's yard pondering plant propagation, but don't know when or where to start expanding your dense planting desires? Well, the time is now and this event is for you!

Join our team on Saturday August 26th at the Spokane Conservation District for a hybrid lecture and hands on workshop, teaching you the basics about propagating, germinating, and sourcing some of our favorite native species. We will dive into the differences between propagating some vegetative, soft wood, and hardwood plants from seeds, rhizome splitting, stem cuttings and more.

This is your chance to get your hands dirty and to take your propagations home after the workshop - directly increasing native pollinator habitat right on your apartment balcony, or in your home yard space.

This is a free event, but space is limited so please RSVP here no later than August 17th. There will be refreshments provided, but please feel free to bring your own lunch. We are excited to provide this educational opportunity and hope you will join us in learning how we can all be better stewards to the earth.
