About the Role
Dryland Revival is hiring a Resource Manager to ensure the timeliness and efficiency of our projects. The Resource Manager is essential to our sustainability strategy and will play a crucial role in providing the foundation of our regenerative landscaping projects through strategic, timely, and organized provision of resources to our many teams. This position requires strong communication and collaboration skills, experience driving trucks and trailers, an organizational mindset, strategic thinking, and excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Field Operations Director and Project Manager to coordinate resource allocation and meet project deadlines.
Coordinate with vendors to procure materials and equipment necessary for landscaping projects, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors to facilitate efficient transactions.
Receive, inspect, and inventory all incoming materials and equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
Organize and maintain an efficient storage system for materials and equipment, optimizing space and accessibility.
Loading and unloading materials and equipment using trucks and trailers, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify and address shortages or excesses to minimize project delays and expenses.
Implement and enforce procedures for tracking and documenting the movement of materials and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate records of transactions, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance schedules using digital tools and software.
Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates on resource availability, project status, and potential challenges.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in resource management activities.
Qualifications
Previous experience in logistics or inventory management, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and team members.
Proficiency in operating trailers, trucks, and loading machinery, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality assurance.
Familiarity with inventory management software and digital tools preferred.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Compensation
$25+/hr DOE, W-2 Employment
