About the Role

Dryland Revival is hiring an Installation Technician to add to our landscape construction team. You’ll play an integral role in the execution of the landscape installations we build for our clients. The Landscape Installation Team has an eye for detail as they place the finishing touches to enhance the terrain.


We are a different kind of landscaping company, specializing in low-maintenance permaculture installations that highlight drought-tolerant, native plants. We are not your typical “mow, edge, spray every two weeks” type of outfit. This position is a seasonal job, full-time - 40 hours per week. Competitive pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues and leads to execute best design and maintenance for environment

  • Implementing detailed landscape plans, including hardscaping and irrigation

  • Install softscape elements, weed, mulch and clear any remaining waste to ensure final appearance is functional and polished

  • Coach, guide, and mentor clients if needed on proper care, insuring satisfaction with the final outcome of the project

  • Conduct final inspection, ensuring design was implemented without flaws  

  • Load all remaining tools, materials and waste, leaving the site clean and safe.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of hardscaping, native plants, beneficial relationships, regenerative landscaping techniques, and recognizing stressed landscapes

  • Proficient in landscaping tools and equipment

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow scaled landscaping plans and safety procedures

  • The following physical abilities are required: crouching, manual dexterity, hearing, kneeling, mental acuity, heavy lifting up to 50-100lbs, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity, and walking for long periods of time.

Compensation

$22+/hr DOE, W-2 Employment
