About the Role
Dryland Revival is hiring an apprentice to add to our landscape construction team. Under the supervision of the install lead, you’ll play a role in the execution of the landscape installations we build for our clients. The apprentice position is an entry-level training position with great growth potential. Gain the knowledge and experience needed for advancement.
We are a different kind of landscaping company, specializing in low-maintenance permaculture installations that highlight drought-tolerant, native plants. We are not your typical “mow, edge, spray every two weeks” type of outfit. This position is a seasonal job, full-time - 40 hours per week. Competitive pay commensurate with experience.
Assist the crew in all aspects of day-to-day assignments including, but not limited to;
Assisting in the installation of the landscape design (hardscaping, softscaping, and irrigation)
On-site education of native plants, beneficial relationships, and regenerative landscaping techniques
On-site education on operating and controlling equipment, using various tools, and constructing
Loading and unloading equipment.
Inspecting and loading equipment for the day’s work.
Application of job safety and rigging and moving loads.
Layout and installation of softscape elements, edging, compost.
Must endeavor to be a fast worker with attention to detail and possess a strong work ethic
The following physical abilities are required: crouching, manual dexterity, hearing, kneeling, mental acuity, heavy lifting up to 50-100lbs, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity, and walking for long periods of time.
$20+/hr DOE, W-2 Employment
