About the Role
Dryland Revival is hiring an experienced crew member to add to our landscape construction team. Under the supervision of the crew leader, you’ll be responsible for execution of the landscape installations we build for our clients. We are a different kind of landscaping company, specializing in low-maintenance permaculture installations that highlight drought-tolerant, native plants. We are not your typical “mow, edge, spray every two weeks” type of outfit. Responsibilities
Assist your crew with completion of clients’ landscape construction, landscape installation, and ongoing landscape maintenance
Create beautiful finished products with attention to detail
Leverage knowledge of native plants, beneficial relationships, and regenerative landscaping techniques
Complete detailed reports of work on a regular basis
Foster and maintain customer relationships
Work safely and contribute positively to the culture of the crew
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a crew member landscaping for residential or commercial properties, on a trail crew or conservation crew, ecological restoration experience and knowledge a plus
Experience with a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment including but not limited to: shovels, picks, McLeod’s, clippers, chain saws, lawnmowers, blowers, edgers, rakes, hedge trimmers
Landscape construction experience highly desirable, including but not limited to: building retaining walls, concrete work, hardscape construction/installation
Heavy equipment experience a plus, including but not limited to: skid steer, forklift, excavator, plate compactor, auger
Driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to and from the work site
Excellent stamina and physical health - this is a physically demanding position predominantly consisting of hard labor
Must endeavor to be a fast worker with attention to detail and possess a strong work ethic
Ability to work safely, adhering to policies and the proper use of personal protective equipment
Compensation
$20+/hr DOE, W-2 Employment
Worker's Compensation insurance through Washington L&I
2 Uniform Shirts and a Sweatshirt provided
Optional $25/month stipend for Spot ER Insurance
